CTE

WELCOME,

Brief Description of Classes:

CAD I and CAD II Classes:

Students get basics of 2D and 3D modeling. We use Solidworks solid modeling, a computer-aided design (CAD) and computer-aided engineering (CAE) computer program that runs on Microsoft Windows. SolidWorks is published by Dassault Systèmes.

Programming II Class:

Students will learn advanced programming techniques and use and learn advanced Java programming language.

Robotics I Class:

In Robotics I, students learn to transfer academic skills to component designs in a project-based environment through implementation of the design process. Students will build prototypes or use simulation software to test their designs. Additionally, students will explore career opportunities, employer expectations, and educational needs in the robotic and automation industry.

Robotics II Class:

In Robotics II, students learn to explore artificial intelligence and programming in the robotic and automation industry. Through implementation of the design process, students will transfer academic skills to component designs in a project-based environment. Students will build prototypes and use software to test their designs.
